AI-Native GTM Challengers
Measures earned, engagement-weighted share of voice across the GTM voices panel. Methodology →
Rox positions itself as an AI-native intelligent revenue operating system: a swarm of always-on agents that plug into Salesforce and the GTM stack to monitor accounts, research prospects, and update CRM records, running warehouse-native so customer data stays in the customer's own warehouse. Conversation about it clusters into recurring types: category comparisons that group it with a wave of AI-native sales-agent and autonomous-CRM companies that have collectively raised hundreds of millions, practitioner walkthroughs that place it inside outbound stacks alongside enrichment and signal tools, technical commentary on engineering choices like cost-per-action tracking and search-agent accuracy, and career narratives from people describing a move into the company as a bet on where revenue organizations are headed.

Business Profile
Rox emerged from stealth in November 2024, founded by Ishan Mukherjee, previously chief growth officer at New Relic, alongside co-founders with backgrounds in data infrastructure and applied AI research. Backed by Sequoia Capital and General Catalyst, the company moved from private beta to global availability in September 2025 and reached a billion-dollar valuation by March 2026, about sixteen months after coming out of stealth. In March 2026 Rox brought on the team and enrichment technology behind Persana AI, a smaller AI-native prospecting vendor, folding that capability into its own product. The company has since opened a second engineering site in Bengaluru and consolidated pricing around a single usage-based model.
Agent Readiness
Measures how easily your agents can build on it — API, MCP, CLI, SDK, docs depth. Methodology →
Rox ships a public API (docs.rox.com) with an llms.txt file for machine-readable discovery. The company has also been building agent-facing infrastructure in-house rather than buying it: a web-search pipeline for grounding agent research, and a published research proposal, Rox Tether, for how a product's own UI should render inside an agent session as an alternative to existing embedded-widget approaches. The build-out is infrastructure first, with first-party data and search shipped ahead of a broader integration surface.
