The Hog frames itself as the data layer underneath AI agents doing GTM work: one credit-based API that replaces a stack of separate search, enrichment, and monitoring vendors, routing each call across people, company, social, news, and web data through whichever underlying provider answers best. The pitch is built explicitly for agent consumption — structured, source-attributed output meant for an LLM to reason over, not just a person to read. The product followed an earlier go-to-market command-center tool the founders built first; they say that work revealed the real asset was the web-intelligence layer underneath, now sold on its own. Coverage of the brand is early: a developer-facing launch with a beta API, not yet a wide practitioner conversation.

Agent access is the entire product: a REST API built to hand back structured, source-attributed data in markdown, JSON, or CSV that an LLM can act on directly, covering company and people search, enrichment, deep research, and monitoring. The Hog ships a Model Context Protocol integration two ways — a hosted remote MCP server and a local stdio package — alongside the API. No dedicated SDK is on file yet.
