Glean works to be the governed context layer between enterprise data and AI models — infrastructure that indexes a company's systems and lets any agent, whether built by Glean or connected through MCP, act on that data under permission controls. Its own framing has moved publicly from "enterprise search" to a full Work AI platform, then to autonomous "AI coworkers" with their own identity and audit trail.
