Recent releases: a Content Writing & Optimization Agent, a PDF Remediation Agent, and Advanced AEO Insights.

Presence Score66$100M+ ARR, 5500 customers, Gartner-listed
Velocity Score42Slow incumbent cadence; AEO peripheral
Agent Readiness ScoreMediumPublic REST API; no agent-native layer

Three scores, refreshed weekly from live market signals rather than a once-a-year analyst report. Presence is how established a vendor is in the market right now. Velocity is how fast they are shipping, raising, and winning customers. Agent Readiness is how easily your own agents can build on them through an API, MCP server, SDK, or CLI. Scores are relative across the vendors we track; the raw inputs ship in the downloadable dataset.

The Solution & Approach

Siteimprove is a web-governance platform founded in 2003 in Copenhagen. The core product covers accessibility, SEO quality, content compliance, and analytics for enterprise web teams. It is the kind of 20-year incumbent the AEO wave is retrofitting rather than displacing, adding AI-search visibility on top of an existing accessibility and SEO base.

The retrofit ran through three moves. First the MarketMuse content-intelligence acquisition in October 2024. Then a March 2025 CEO change to Nayaki Nayyar, formerly of Securonix. Then the August 2025 launch of Siteimprove.ai, an agentic content-intelligence platform built on Amazon Bedrock and Nova whose Search agents target LLMs and AI discovery platforms. The AEO/GEO capability surfaced as a named product, Advanced AEO Insights, at Adobe Summit in April 2026, tracking AI citations, share of answers, and brand sentiment across answer engines.

In June 2026 the work crossed from measurement into production: a Content Writing & Optimization Agent that generates publication-ready content with AEO performance insights built in. The core business of accessibility, governance, and SEO predates LLMs and would survive without them, which separates Siteimprove from AEO-native entrants like Profound. It is listed as a Representative Vendor in the 2026 Gartner Market Guide for Answer Engine Optimization.

Best for

Enterprise web teams that already run accessibility, compliance, and SEO governance and want AI-search visibility added on the same platform rather than buying a standalone AEO/GEO tool.
