Peec AI

Updated 2026-08-16

AI search analytics platform for AEO/GEO, aimed at mid-market teams and agencies rather than the enterprise. Customers include Chanel, Hugo Boss, Squarespace, and ElevenLabs. $29M raised, $10M ARR, in talks at a ~$200M pre-money valuation. Recent releases: Brand Perception, an Ads page, and AI Shopping Analytics.

Presence Score74Clear #2 specialist; doubled ARR $4M→$10M in 6mo
Velocity Score86Fast specialist shipping; capable MCP recently added
Agent Readiness ScoreHighCapable MCP server plus monitoring API

Three scores, refreshed weekly from live market signals rather than a once-a-year analyst report. Presence is how established a vendor is in the market right now. Velocity is how fast they are shipping, raising, and winning customers. Agent Readiness is how easily your own agents can build on them through an API, MCP server, SDK, or CLI. Scores are relative across the vendors we track; the raw inputs ship in the downloadable dataset.

The Solution & Approach

Peec AI tracks how often ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews name a brand, benchmarks that against competitors, and turns the readout into a prioritized worklist through a feature called Actions. Three engines come on every plan. Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Llama, and Google AI Mode are paid add-ons at roughly €20 to €30 per engine per month, the widest à la carte model menu in the AEO category. The measurement method is UI scraping of real interactions rather than API-only sampling.

The angle is volume. CEO Marius Meiners has described Peec as "more of a mid-market mass product," with two-thirds of customers in the 100 to 200 employee range, dedicated agency pricing tiers, and a partner program feeding distribution. That is the opposite of the enterprise-first path Profound took in the same category. The growth curve followed the positioning: €650K ARR four months after launch, $4M at the November 2025 Series A, and a company-confirmed $10M ARR by May 2026 across 2,500+ customers.

The category POV shows up in what Peec chooses to measure next. AI Shopping Analytics pushed the product to SKU-level product visibility inside AI shopping answers. The Ads page watches competitor placements inside ChatGPT responses, a concession that paid and earned visibility will sit side by side in the same answer. Brand Perception scores what AI associates with a brand rather than how often it names one. Behind all three sits a research team stood up in June 2026 to reverse-engineer how answer engines rank brands, with CPO Malte Landwehr warning that "many tactics that currently work well for short-term gains in AI visibility will stop working in a year."

Best for

Mid-market marketing teams and agencies that want broad engine coverage and prompt-level visibility data without an enterprise sales cycle.

Pricing & trial

Self-serve and published: €75/month for 25 prompts, €169/month for 100 prompts, enterprise from €424/month, with extra AI engines sold à la carte at roughly €20 to €30 each and separate agency tiers for 1 through 25+ clients. No free trial is disclosed in public materials. Pricing.

Agent Experience

How you build on this platform (or wire it into your own agents):

Surface Available Docs
API Yes docs
MCP Yes docs
SDK No
CLI No
llms.txt Yes docs

One of the stronger build-on options in the category: an MCP server with read and write operations on brand entities plus bulk actions on up to 50 at a time, a Customer API that now carries Brand Perception and AI Shopping data, public docs, an llms.txt, and a Looker Studio connector, though API access sits on the top plan.

Company, Financials & Funding History

Founded in Berlin and launched around February 2025 by Marius Meiners (CEO), Tobias Siwonia (CTO), and Daniel Drabo (CRO), who met in Antler's Berlin Winter 2024 cohort. The team is non-traditional for the category, a former esports pro turned software engineer and PwC venture-deals hand, a serial AI and consumer-tech founder, and a law student who ran a ramen food truck, and it took the company from €650K ARR four months post-launch to a company-confirmed $10M ARR, 2,500+ customers, 70+ employees, and an open New York office by May 2026.
